Peace
Oil on board
This is the view from outside my home.
There are days when I step outside and the landscape seems to ask nothing of me. The mountains, the trees, the changing light. Everything is simply there.
I wanted to capture that feeling of stillness and gratitude, when you stop for a moment and realise how lucky you are to call somewhere like this home.
Peace is a painting about slowing down, looking around and simply being where you are.
Part of my Held by the Hills collection, inspired by the landscape around my home in North Wales.
